As the owner, I have been in the construction trades for 47-years now. I have worked as a Millwright for 25-years and in the building trades for the other 22-years. I always strive for perfection, and I expect for my team members to do the same. We build every deck as if it is our own personal property and we are using our own money to do it. Needless to say, we are not going to spend good money on bad materials, it just not going to happen!!
I am always searching for the best in materials, new innovative designs, and procedures that will give you the best that technology and engineering has to offer. We don’t have problems; we only have solutions. And if I don’t have the answer, I will reach out to manufacturers or engineering for recommendations.
When taking an old deck and bringing it back up to beautiful work of art; you will see that details are important to us. New Renovations doesn’t use the standard 2 x 6 deck boards with sharp edges on our decks because sharp edges produce splinters over time. Also, we don’t buy wood from the big box stores because their materials just don’t make the grade when it comes to pressure treatments. We hand select each McCoy’s Pressure treated board for quality, appearance, and longevity.
Trex and Timbertech both exceptional composite materials that are the best in the industry, this is why we use them. Both of these products have great warranties and a wide range of colors to choose from. Both products use hidden Stainless-steel fasteners/screws which our customers really love.
Weardeck is a vinyl decking system that brings its own qualities to the table. The thermographics’ are great on this product with an exceptional warranty to match. This product uses semi-hidden Stainless-steel screws. Thruflow is a great for decks, docks, staircases, and walkover bridges to get you across the sand dunes.
